    hi feginem,and welcome to DK, first tell us what box you've got (different firmware for different boxes) and if you,ve only messed up the channel list just download the latest,either ajs or sat5 both are excellent,as for the epg the older boxes have (now + next) and the newer ones have 7 epg

      Yeah ive got the f5s. Ive downloaded the firmware and the channels are back to normal. Can you maybe point me in the right direction to get a new epg for my box. I downloaded one before and for some reason the timing was out as in it was one hour ahead of what was actually on the box.

        New EPG not required, just a firmware fix to remove a bug, see this thread for details;

        Don't forget once you updated the firmware, you need to update the EPG.

          Thanks very much, all sorted now! Just another quick question. Ive got a 2nd box with a dongle in it. Am i still able to download the latest epg to that box through a dongle?

            Unfortunately the F5s only has one USB port and the EPG info is stored on a usb drive attached to the box, you won't have any spare USB ports for the dongle, apparently skyboxs don't work well with USB hubs it kinda kills the box. You could use Homeplugs and LAN cable therefore freeing up the USB post but would it be cost effective???

              I'll give it a miss. I'll soldier on as it is. Thanks anyway.

                  I dont see why. I was paying ?70 a month for sky tv alone. Now im paying a similar amount for over a years worth. The box will do fine!
