2 boxes on load after update!

So I went to update my channels on my F3S with AJ list never had any problems, and it got stuck on load, so then I thought it may have been the box so ive ordered a null modem cable.. I then had an old F3 and put that in to watch but had to update channels and its happened again!? why has this happened, I normally do it right, with the dbs file.

I know what I have to do I have to flash but im asking is their a problem with the file as it happened to two?

did you use same file on both????
or download again then update second box????
as its a corrupt download thats the problem as many tens of thousand ppl download the same file to update there boxes

i downloaded the list 2 days ago works a treat. i did have a problem few months ago with certain boxes f3, which i found i need to flash the firmware using a flash tool. i think the firmware has caused the device to loop in boot mode......

and with original and clone boxes in the mix,not sure if both images are the same.

ive never had a problem doing It before must have been doing them for about a year now with the same box scared to do it again as iv just fixed it, is it wise?

if you have two boxes and the downloads doesnt work on one box.... then download again and load on second box.....
this way u will have at least one box working....
if you have fixed both boxes via data cable u need not worry .....update and it should be ok sa long as the dbs file doesnt currupt during download
but u can always reinstall software via data cable now

I've been downloading AJ's lists for over 18 months from Digital-Kaos, using them on all different models of Openbox/Skybox without any problems whatsoever.

You could try downloading the channel list directly from AJ's website, in case your download was somehow corrupted. The list on AJ's site is ready to use, so doesn't need extracting.

I had the exact same problem a couple of months ago now!!

I've always used aj's list for the past 18 months, but 2 skybox f3 in my house went 1 day after each other, 1 got stuck on load and the other the display was just blank and box wouldn't load!!

I wouldn't say it's the file at all think it's just 1 of those things that happens with these boxes!!!, once I had recovered both boxes I've continued using aj's list and all good as per normal!!!
