just flasted me f5 box with rs232 to rs232 all went well pressed finish pluged plug back in to tv come up stpt on box and on tv come up hardware id mismatch so is the box ready for the bin.

At a guess I would say no or at least not yet. It sounds as if you've loaded the wrong software version on to your box. You state in the title that its a F5. Are you sure you haven't tried to put a F5S software on it? There is a difference. Failing that, it's possible you may have a " clone " box and may need to find a suitable " clone " software. Ideally, you would have made a backup of your original software and you would reflash the box with that.

thanks for the reply just flashed it with other software come on no chan but the box keeps freezing now any help thanks
