    Hi guys


    Ok ive been very happy with this box and the SD channels are fine with me but i am now noticing even after channel updates fom AJ a lot are playing audio but no picture?? i have read that maybe a firmwware update should cure it but have also read on here a lot of people saying it can be a big problem updating it as easily bricked and dodgy firmwares out there and the boxes not working the same after etc etc.

    What is best thing please as want these just audio channels working really.

      If you want those channels then the only option is to install the latest firmware.

      If you have a clone box, then it should just say "upgrade file is mismatch" when you try to upgrade by USB.

              Download firmware. Use Winrar or any other similar program to unpack it. Put it on a USB memory stick.

              Insert memory stick into Skybox. Go to Menu > tools > upgrade by USB. Upgrade mode = Image File (*.abs).

              Select your image in "upgrade file" box (if you have more than 1 image on the memory stick). "Keeping DBS & setting" = yes.

              Scroll to "Start" & press OK.

              Although it should keep all your important settings, make sure your gift is already backed up to your pc or USB stick first, if you don't already have a copy on your pc.

                      hi has anyone come across a skybox f5s that wont let you flash it without a pin code? and its not for the hidden menu like 6666 or 0000 it doesn't let you change anything without a pin
