7 DAY EPG

Hi guys, what are these 7 day EPG on ebay like? I don't fancy ruining my box! Is AJs channel list a 7 day epg? I have an openbox v5s. Im a newbie to all this! Cheers

You dont need to buy it just install the right firmware on your box to get it

It's the firmware that gives you the 7 (or 5) day EPG, not the channel list.

What firmware do you have on your box at the moment. Look in menu > tools > information. The latest software version (for the F5s) is 3601HD_10_04_2014_0670.

If your firmware is already compatible, then in the menu > system setup, you will see "EPG & time setting". That option will let you download XMLTV EPG data.

Not all the channels are showing a listing (a lot of the movies listing are missing) is there a way to fix this?

It's a bug with the xmltv listing (movies and some other channels) and at present no fix, you won't get a listing for the first 24hrs but day 2-5 will show a listing, a workaround is to update late at night before midnight, therefore after midnight it's into day 2 so you will get a listing in the morning.
