hi can any1 help..im tryin 2 connect a hd 2 my f5s box its in fat32 but the box wont use it....any help

What do you mean be 'box won't use it?'

The F5s might not like the HD or USB adaptor, try another HD or USB stick drive and see if that works.

As your USB stick works it does sound like a compatibility issue, therefore unfixable

I hope I don't offend you with this question but the HD is powered by the USB port you don't need to plug in an external power cable?

Are you using a USB lead with 2 plugs on the end?

I made the mistake once of plugging in the thinner lead, which is only for power & doesn't have the data lines connected.

You're not making the same mistake as I did are you?

no just 1 plug in hd and 1 plug in box

carnt remember if it flashers or just stays on but def lights up
