Box stuck on load after upgrading channel list

Hi there,

Fairly new to this, but I upgraded my channel list to AJ's list dated 16/8, I noticed that I did get sky sports 5 as an option but it said invalid channel however I was happy that channels like sky sport f1 were now there. I saw a tutorial that suggested I should delete all channels before upgrading so I thought I would try it incase that was the reason some channels like SS5 weren't working but then it said no channels (or something similar), I decided to exit out and now the box stays stuck at LOAD on the digital display. Is there a way I can fix this?

Mine did this the other week. From what i can see you need a RS232 cable and a RS232 port in your pc - I tried using a usb one but didnt work. You need to reload the firmware to your skybox.
There are instructions somewhere on here to help fix the problem

I have an openbox V5s is that helps.
