MD5 Checksums for files that are downloaded and flashed to hardware (Win-Os)

I've seen how a few unfortunates are bricking there boxes by flashing improperly downloaded or corrupt files.
It's easily done and flashing anything to hardware warrants being extra careful. Hence my post the link below is to a free MD5 hash creator for Win OS (Replace *** with www)
The person creating the flash file drops their verified (working) file into the top dialog box and the hash is created and supplied as a note with the down loadable file.

The file recipient drag drops the file into top dialog box and the hash will be displayed, to verify the downloaded file copy pastes the supplied hash from the file creator into the bottom dialog box and hash will be checked for authenticity.

Don't flash if the hash's don't match... download the file again and re-check hash.

There is nothing new or ground braking being divulged here but I believe approach
could avoid heart ache and finger pointing.
