For everybody's information the firmware dated 20/08/2014 is NOT a new firmware. The date that is quoted is in fact the upload date that the software was put back onto the site after it had been inexplicably removed for a week or so. When you unpack the file you will discover that it is the firmware that was originally released in April, 2014. Hope this clears the matter up for everyone.

The numbers in the file heading usually tell you the release date. In this case 140410 (10th April 2014).

How often does new firmware get released for the F5S box? I just got one and want to make sure I keep it up to date.
