OPENBOX DUAL TUNER OR NOT ??

Hi Guys, not really Tech savey so please forgive me; I have a Openbox V5S only had it about a week, I've tried to Record one channel while watching another but it doesn't allow, is it even possible does it have a dual tuner? I have 2 Cables/Coax connected from a quad LNB one into the LNB IN & the other into the LOOP, with this in mind i assumed it had dual tuners?
Can any one shed some light on this for me plz.

Definitely not mate. It's a single tuner box so you need to have the box on the channel you are recording. You also need to disconnect the lnb cable from the " Loop " socket as its been reported on the forum that it can short your box out. The " Loop " socket is to provide a lnb loop feed to another receiver and only does this operation when the Skybox is powered up but in the standby mode.

Thanks bigade for the heads up, I've removed the Loop no harm done touch wood; kind of suspected it was a single but wasn't to sure.
