Skybox f5s horizontal channels no signal

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and skybox.
i have had my f5s for about a month now and have been very impressed by its performance,
all was fine up until a few days ago when I started getting a no signal message when selecting a horizontal channel. Vertical channels are fine.
my dish and sly quad lnb and cables are new as is my f5s.
I have ordered a no signal fix off ebay but I'm not confident it will cure my problem as I have since read that it fixes the signal when vertical channels are the problem.
Is there anyone else who has had this problem and since sorted it out ?

Get this problem with one of my dreamboxes, sometimes a simple resetting of your router could sort it like it does my dreambox

Look at the F connector see it has not come loose or shorting.

i have the very same problem on a f5 ... trying to fix it as we speak ,, i have a f5s running an it works fine so i can rule out the dish and lnb , if you get sorted let us know

This might sound stupid but I had this problem and it had now been fixed by simply pulling the power cord out of your skybox at night. (Before you sleep etc) Just plug it back in when you want to use the box.

I know now it makes no sense but my channels work 100% now, they where not working for a good few days before it tried this.
