advice please

I have a f5 in my spare room. The other day I decided to rescan the channels. When it finished I got no signal on the box and now it keeps getting to 100 then restarting but if I take the sat cable out it loads up fine. I have trtied cutting the cable but its still doing it

Sounds like a break in the cable somewhere or faulty LNB
Just guessing you have a box downstairs ???

If so disconnect it & rescand the box upstairs

I think its deffo the cable just tried it with a sky box {original} and that dosnt get a signal
