    Skybox - Canada

    Hi there,
Moving to Canada from the UK pretty soon.
What is required to be installed (in Toronto, Canada) so as I may pick up the Sky Satellite and use my Skybox?

    Thanks.

no chance of getting 28.2 sat over there it orbits to low, plenty of other fta sats , direct tv or or dish network 110w and 119w both have free to air channels as well as pay for view, there also many forums such as this one dealing in the same hobby, just google the same as you did over here

      Thanks for that.
I was hoping to still be able to watch the UK football on Sky but I suppose I will have to find an alternative source.

for canada it would be bell expressvu as a sat provider but you may have to go iptv if games are even on that type connection.
110w and 119w have no fta, they are all nagra3 encrypted.

you will find the satellite reception in north america pitiful.
Some sats have little or nothing on them, like 83w and 85w,93w

Iptv mate, defo the way to go. Get yourself a mag 250 or an enigma 2 box. You can get both boxes sorted for either full hd sly or sd sky

if I had to buy a sat setup again I would never do it,not enough to watch via ku band.
