REBOOT (but not as we know it)

Ok here's a strange one
F5s on sat fine... watchin channels fine... boot up fine... Shut down fine...

Select another sat fine.. dish moves then on occasions Boom REBOOT or crash freeze...
When it doesn't crash or reboot I scan then it sometimes crashes but not reboot...
It seems to be when dish finds new position it reboots?????
And when scanning it crashes????
After shut down n boot up dish is where it shud be and scanned channels saved?????

I've changed output ports on lnb from 1+4 to 2+3(as sly HD box connected too)
F conectors fine
Only on dish positioning or scanning channels reboot or crash
Fine after reboot and while on sat channel flicking

If any one knows the way box n motor communicate that may be helpful as motor seems to be the obvious culprit but on scanning the motors shut down n may be???? Not communicating with box

update...........
bypassed motor and scaned a transponder still crashes or reboots
swapped cables still same.......
removed lnb from loop altogether and tried scan again runs normal with no channels found (obviously)

so box or lnb???????
