box stuck on LOAD

just updated lastest channel list and box is stuck on load

says load on the box display

any ideas people ???

hi ive got upto the download bit using the recover dead box link. set it all up and prees next then it say syncronizing STBs, please reset target. how do i reset it

Turn the box on ( plug in the power cable )

still not working cant get the firmware onto box keep getting same message

It should say Done when you connect the power cable at the back then it will start. Maybe you using the wrong software!

GO TO SKYBOX.CC GO TO DOWNLOADS THEN RS232 UPGRADE TOOLS AND DOWNLOAD THE BOTTOM ONE SKYBOX F1/F2 RS232 UPGRADE TOOL. GO TO THE DOWNLOAD SECTION FOR SKYBOX F5S IF THATS YOUR BOX AND DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE DATED 18TH SEP 2013 3RD ONE DOWN. Now connect the rs232 cable to your box and your computer, open upgrade tool and don't forget to tick include bootloader.put the software in the loader then with your skybox off press start then switch your box on and it will start the download. When it comes to the flashing part it will say failed. Press back and your box will boot up,now just download the latest software to your box as usual and the latest channel list and your done.

thanks i will give this a shot when i get home. will this work if im using a usb to rs232 adaptor??

Some people had problems with a usb to rs232 , some other say work fine. Personal i will get a old pc and try with both ends rs232 connection. Works fine for me!
