Evening

I'm not very technical and need some basic help.

Please can someone tell me

- How do I check if my box is connected to the router all ok

(I've tried the YouTube app to check - The videos list loads up but the videos don't play)

- How can I check what firmware I have on the box ?

- What is the very latest firmware number / Name and where can I find it.

- Does an updated channel list make a difference to anything

- What are the most common errors people come across with this box.

If a list of Youtube clips loads (but don't play), then it's connected to the internet.

To check your firmware, go to menu > tools > information. The latest software version should be dated 10_04_2014.

To make sure that you have all the latest new channels & to make sure that you can continue to view channels when they change transponders, you need to keep your channel list up to date.
