    Openbox V5S

I recently purchased a V5S for a friend and used ajs channel list as I always do for my f5. When I put the channels on the V5S unlike on the f5 where it's listed as entertainment sports movies etc, it was listed favourites 1 2 3 4 etc. Have I done something wrong or do I need a different channel list for this box?

There is no need to flash the firmware! This issue happens to most users occassionally. All you need to do is reset the box to the factory settings using your remote control. Here's a quote from Sattv's channel list FAQ which also applies to AJ's channel list:

My Favourites are all wrong since I loaded your list how do i fix them ?

The way to get The favourites under the correct headings is to load the default Database:
On the remote select Menu > Factory Settings > Select Yes > Then Press Blue (Don't make any choices at the menu)
The screen will flash black and you will be back at the menu. If you check your favourites now they should all be in the correct order

Can't you just rename your favourites? I added a new favourite section yesterday and I'm sure there was a rename option.

Yes you can, but for adewolves to get the original headings back, the quickest way is to do what bigade1 posted.

Good point... it was a bit fiddly as I recall.
