Random skybox f5 freeze

Hi have had a few issues with my skybox f5 recently where it will randomly freeze on BBC one HD and ITV 1 HD. The only way to fix this is to Reboot it by removing the power cable. No functions from the remote will work.

Any help or advice will be much appreciated

Further onto my problem my box is freezing and the only way to get it working is to power it off but removing the cable and then plugging it back in. Happens more on BBC one HD and ITV. Can anyone help. My software version is 3601HD_19_11_2012_0B27

Freezing on free channels sounds like your cable coming from LNB has got water in side, how old is your LNB/WIRE?

Does this happen on all channels (even though you said it happens more on BBC1HD & ITVHD)?

Does it happen at random times, or is it around 10 seconds after the box has finished booting? If it always happens around 10 seconds, try removing the LNB cable & see if it still does it. It might be due to the LAN tool problem that posters in this thread were having problems with (read from post #65 for solution):-

btw...your firmware is also very old. There have been 4 updates since your firmware was released:-

The problem happens at random times and only on the FTA HD channels

Cabling is 5 years old as is the lnb

Might be worth updating to latest firmware.

Ok so flashed the box to latest version and still getting freezing on bbc one hd. Help??
