Skybox f3 won't work in neighbors house!

Hello everybody I'm at my wits end!
I have a skybox f3 that works without any problem in my own house and I have eircom bb, but when I take it to my neighbor's house it won't work and he has upc bb, I have done all the usual with firewall and all that,any help would greatly appreciated?

Do the usual, switch off the rooter and box, switch on rooter when up and running you switch the box at the end that way the ip address will connect.

Check fta channels, if your not getting fta then their dish is not aligned properly

are you using a dns?
if not check that your neighbours box is looking for the right ip and not a local ip like 192.168.1.10
dont want to say much more regarding servers n clients due to forum rules

DHCP issue maybe ? Go into menu - select Network - Network Setup' and turn DHCP 'off' if its on and vice versa if its off by using arrow keys and then hitting apply.

I have got a similar box tried changing ip address but still wont connect to the server

had similar problem. it was the router, just wouldnt see box.try a different router in Friends house. good luck

DHCP issue maybe ? Go into menu - select Network - Network Setup' and turn DHCP 'off' if its on and vice versa if its off by using arrow keys and then hitting apply.

Follow pappafoz info DHCP issue maybe...... turn off reboot the box.......once the box restarts......turn on ......then reboot the box....this clears the old IP address on the box
