    Upgrade file is a mismatch

Some help required for a divvy!!!!

I've reset my F5 skybox and am trying to upgrade the firmware... 2012 software on board at the minute...

I've downloaded several later firmwares but when I tried to upload them from USB it flashes up upgrade file mismatch... The only one it will actually accept is the original one that is on the box (dumped it on USB then upgraded from it).

Any ideas what I am doing wrong???

Check your box mate is it F5S or F5 they use different firmware choose correct firmware and you will be able to load firmware without mismatch error

Defo a F5 as I bought it before the F5s was available...

Downloading it from a link shown in another thread so think I'm using the correct firmware

There are genuine F5 boxes & clone F5 boxes. Flashing genuine firmware on a clone (or vice versa) will give the error that you are getting.

Genuine firmware is available from skybox.cc

Clone firmware is available from hddvbsw.com

        You can also try yojiatech.com

            Ok...

Starting to lose the will to live!!!!

            I've...
            dumped everything onto USB
            updated the firmware (clone box)
updated the latest AJ channel list

            did the next bit...

And now I've got all the FTA channels and BT Sports HD 1 and 2 and the rest are showing 5% SNR...

            Any ideas???

looks like you need a signal fix your best friend is ebay many people have issues with these boxes mostly signal on horizontal channel showing really low i have seen threads on other forums where vertical channels are showing similar signals and horizontal working you can try your box your friends house if it works maybe you need to change your lnb maybe

So are you saying that only the FTA and BT sports HD 1 & 2 are the only channels working? If so, that's very odd.

Are the channels showing as 5% SNR showing "no signal"?

Do you have a $ly+ box (or any other satellite boxes) connected to the same LNB as the F5 box?

Yep they are the only ones working that I can spot...

All 5% SNR's have "no signal" message...

I already have a signal fix and it's the same with or without it.

I do have other SKY+ boxes connected but this has never been an issue before... Only began to be a problem last weekend and no issues for over a year prior to this...
