openbox s12 dead no front lights etc recognise with usb to serial but errors
hi all I got this box in it has no front panel lights
ive checked when its on it produces the right voltages but cant get it to flash via serial
heres my problem can use usb 2 serial converter and a null modem cable it recognises when synchronising stb it says done
but then fails on the stb memory error or sdram error using a different versions of eeprom upgrade tool
so I got a serial lead made the connections and doubled checked 2=3 3=2 5=5 these are the only connections the s10 box uses
but no eeprom upgrade tool will pick it up
stuck on reset the box never changes so I get further using the serial converter
