    Openbox F5S Box noise

    Hi guys,

Maybe somebody can shed some light on this for me. I recently purchased an Openbox F5S box for the bedroom and have it all set up and working fantastic. However, when I turn it on there is a very high pitched squealing noise from the box. It's not an extremely loud noise, but it is there consistently while watching channels and is becoming an annoyance while watching... I discovered that the noise almost stops altogether when I bring up the settings menu. then upon going back to a channel the noise starts again. The noise even continues when the box is in standby mode, meaning I have to unplug it at night. Is this a known issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers guys.

Yea it seems strange.... The box itself works perfectly, no issues at all. It's just this high frequency noise that is there in the background. Really can't fault the box otherwise, and not sure it's worth returning it and paying post & packaging.... Just wondered had anyone else had a similar issue

Ive had the high pitched whine before on other devices and its usually a sign that the power supply is on the way out.
