7 day epg f3

Does anyone know for sure if u can get 7 day epg guide for the f3 some say it works but most are saying it only works on later models f3 with newer chip after 2013 been tempted to try update but Been told if it ain't broke don't fix it

Only the f3s or the newer f5s have the ability to use a 7 day EPG.
