Advice please

Hi guys,

Not been here for ages and good to be back. Congrats everyone for the great info here....thank you

Right I have a F5S box and looking to upgrade to a box with internal hard drive to record similar to a Sly+ box.

Any advice please? I dont want to add an external drive or USB, just looking for a box what is the same as the F5S but internal drive for recording.

Don't think any openbox have an internal hard drive slot. You could always go down the dreambox 800se route, you can add a sata hard drive into it. Only problem is it's not a twin tuner! A bit more cash and you could get a twin tuner box

Try the amiko alien 2 tripple it has twin sky tuners and a cable/terrestrial tuner there've droped in price to ?119 u will just need to add a external usb HDD, a lot of people slag these boxes off, I have 2 and they running great on the new openatv 4.2 image
