Skybox F5s Channels Scrambled Ran out of ideas!

Hi Guys,

My skybox f5s seems to have went weird on me. Everything seems fine it says it is connected to the internet hooked up wireless and was working no problem at all. Till later on in the evening the channels scrambled. I have rebooted modem, factory reset the box. Removed everything and put it back in. Checked everything again. As I said says it is connected to internet, tried box in a mates house and it doesn't work either. Checked coax wire is ok etc. Just at a bit of a loss I found a thread and tried to ping my box through cmd on my computer with ip address but it came up nothing. DHCP is on, I am at a bit of a loss. Hoping maybe it just needs a flash? I was on skybox.cc but I don't see any recent flashes for it.

Anyone had this problem or can point me in the right direction?

Thanks for re pointing rules out mate. Do you know if there is any recent flashes/updates for these boxes nothing on Skybox.cc

You don't ping your box, you ping your providers IP address, this tells how fast the data stream/loading is especially during peak times ie football matches.

As your box ain't working in yours or your mates house, sounds like something has ran out/ended, can't say much more due to the rules other than contact your provider.

As to latest firmware, 140410 released 20/08/14 on skybox.cc is the latest and fix an EPG bug.

Thanks mate fixed just not recognising position 1 and does position 2 so dummied position 1 and it is all back to normal thanks guys for your help much appreciated
