does the openbox v5s have built in wifi? and channel list query

hello all purchased a openbox v5s recently, but I am not sure if it has (wi fi internet built in) does not seem to be mentioned in the manual provided.

my router sits 12 ft away from my tv cabinet which houses my openbox etc, I wish to use the single usb port for recording to usb hdd drive.

also I cannot find any info on the number of channels this box can store?

is it possible to have a channel list for uk, and another for say Italy on the same openbox.

As Above no built in Wi-Fi you would have to purchase a Dongle for that. Channel memory is limited to 5000 but is plenty enough for the channels at 13? east as well

Yes you can, but unfortunately the whole channel database gets overwritten if you install a new channel list.

So for example, if you install AJ's channel list for $ly UK, it will delete the channel list for the other satellite.

          thank you all for replies

no built in wifi, if I buy a dongle I will not be able to use the usb port for recording, so have gone the homeplug route which can feed 3 devices.

reading the openbox manual I see that it has usals option (as I have a moterised set up for a different sattelitte receiver)

could I not set openbox to 28e and scan for channels, then 13e hotbird etc or would scanning 13e overite 28e channels?

can I save the original channel list to usb.

have not actualy delved into setting up the openbox until im sure what I am doing.

You can scan a second satellite without affecting the channel list of the first.

It's just that if you want to install a pre-set channel list for one of the satellites afterwards (e.g. AJ's list for 28.2e), you cannot install it without it overwriting both satellite channel lists.
