    openbox v5s not recognising a c*g file on usb

    hi all a bit baffled I have openbox v5s have copyied and pasted info onto notepad and transferred to usb and saved as a c*g file .

    if I click on the said file on usb it opens in notepad with relevant details.

    but trying to get the file into the openbox via client usb option , it simply states c*g file not found.

    I have tried a few things but cannot figure out why the file is not (seen) by the openbox.

    thank you

    Try;
    1. File correctly named in notepad and given .c*g extension
    2. File on root of USB drive, not in a folder
    3. USB drive formatted to fat32

      When you save it using notepad, remember that you have to use "Save as type: All files (*.*)". If you don't, it will put .txt on the end of it & it won't be recognised by your box.
