how do i activate my openbox m4 mini hd box

hi all I have just received an openbox m4 mini hd and indead it is mini not much bigger than a pack of cigarettes.

having faffed about for about 2 hours,(remote not working, box is powered on) I realised that there is a kind of reciver and lead that plugs into the rear of box.

remote now works ok

no mention of this in instructions on a quick peruse.


however I am not sure how I activate this box , for instance openbox v5s you punch in a code to access extra menus for set up?


I believe I can post here as it is a openbox but have not seen any threads on this particular model

I think if I remember rightly the setup menus are the same as openbox X5
