F5 problems please help

    F5 problems please help

    Hi all, just picked up an f5 oldish box and got my gift etc all set up with updated channel list.
    All the channels are in the sport section but can't view ss2& ss5, they come up showing no signal, all other sports are excellent signal. Then boxnation shows invalid programme.
    Iv just done the latest channel update & firmware for the f5 which seems to date back to 28/3/13.
    So any help to my above would be great and also if anyone knows if the f5s firmware would be compatible on my box or just kill it?
    Lastly, should sky box office work for the cleverly fight 😃

      also can i ask do you have it looped to a sky hd box or is it on its own cable with no others attached to box

          Thanks marts. I seen those on theBay but thought they looked like a plug with tape round it .
          The box has it's own feed from dish. All other ssports channels are like 85%+ signal

                  Your software that you have uploaded is old.You need a more recent one.( August 2014). You Need to upload latest AJ list

                      Where have you seen Aug 2014 firmware for a genuine F5?

                      The last one on the skybox.cc & yojiatech sites was dated 23/12/2013 (although the current latest one on the skybox.cc site is 28/3/2013 since the firmware was removed then replaced a few months ago).

                          Yes guys this is my question also. On the skybox.cc website the firmware I used was from March 2013. If there is a newer version I will try that but the only newer ones are in the f5s link. Does anyone know if this would work? (Sorry if sounds like an idiot question)

                              As I said above, the 23/12/13 firmware is on the Yojiatech website.

                              I have attached the 23/12/13 firmware that was on the skybox.cc site. It was described as "2013122314302049538 SKYBOX F5 F3 M3 131223 Fix Bug Fix youtube, youp0rn playback".

                              So I don't think it wil help with your problems, as it was just a youtube/youp0rn bug fix (which I think has stopped working again anyway).
