I guess with the OP's question this is in relation to receiving channels by other means, The simple answer the biggest Pay TV satellite provider in the UK will and always will try methods to stop people viewing these channels illegally.

Which in layman's terms mean they can try different methods of encryption or adjust it slightly as not to interfere with official subscribers to either 1 particular channel or a few at a time who knows but get used to it.

This is the nature of the beast in this game i am afraid to say.
