    Help require with skybox V8 and openbox V8

    I just recieve my 2x boxes

    sky box v8
    openbox v8

    I have turn on sky box and under network I dod not see any camd option. I have tried to press 0000, 6666, 8888 but no joy.

    I have never use these boxes ever before so I have no clue whats so ever what are they.

    I tried to reade on google and more I read more I confuse.
    People brick them, then recover them then reflash them etc........

    I do not know do I need to flash with any preticular firmware before camd set up ?

    can these boxes be conecct via telnet ? can I ftp them to add cccam.cfg ? I see people update via usb.

    I have good experience with dreambox, vu boxes but these are seems HARD to me to understand.

    can some one please guide me through once instead give me a link to read.

    Looking forword some expert help.

              Do you not just upload file via usb
              then push green to activate the said file
              then reboot........Paul

                  Hi mate sorry dont know if you can help, just having trouble clearing any channels on my S-v8 and S-v7, i have tried many firmwares including the ones off the official website skybox.cc. i thought it would be stright forward as the skybox F3 + F5.. tried many protocools and diffrent lines mgcamd, newcamd,ccam too but nothing can you please show me the way if possibleMERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR :thum:
