No Signal - but different icon?

Box just gone off (sky5s) normally when it goes, its the green scrambled icon
this time its different and its blue, and signal gone to 5% - no bloody signal

box has been fine for ages

any clues where to start?
chance the heavy snow has anything to do with the sky dish?

Mine went off,no signal,all back on now

yes snowstorm will stop satbox from getting a signal.

why if they had not seen this problem before=sat uses line of sight to work.

Been without for about 12 hours now. Snow & ice frozen onto dish/lnb

Why? some us might not have have the vast amount of knowledge that you possess. Maybe i need to stop in a bit more and do some reading

for the rest that replied, thanks. I checked all the cables this morning as it still wasnt working. reset the box and its working. seems strange as i was still getting signal from the sky dish on another box i use for freeview
