Transponders missing on Skybox F5S

Hi,
just become a proud owner of Skybox. After starting the channel search for Astra and Hotbird I noticed that a lot of channels are missing.
After checking the transponder list I found out, that on Astra about 30 transponders are missing (2 on Hotbird)
Firmware is 04/2014
Is there a way the update the transponders or do I have to add them all manually?
Can I add them to TP_PROG.dbs using AliEditor? I am afraid that after editing with AliEditor my Skybox could not start again :-S

What kind of scan did you do?

If you do a blind scan or accurate scan, then all the available TP's should be scanned & stored.

You can add your own TP's, but if they were not picked up during a scan, they they probably won't work.

Are you sure that your dish is aligned OK? Have you tried a channel list from CWAITE or AJ for the 28.2 channels?

Are you using a motor, or 2 LNB's on 1 fixed dish, or 2 seperate dishes?

I did a accurate scan. The dish is working because I tried it with an other (old) receiver and I got all the channels.
I ended up adding the missing transponders and I got the missing channels.
