Best box

Hi guys

Happy new year!
Which box would you guys recommend? Looking at getting skybox or openbox? Any advice would be appreciated. Also if any advice could be PM to me on setting up the box, that would be great

I would first suggest you read the relevant section about the make of receiver Openbox/Skybox and then trawl through the various amounts of problem posts there are on here fro these types of receivers and then make your mind up.

Personally i would not touch one with a barge pole due to there unreliability factor, Then again there are many happy users as well

For the price of the SlyBox/OpenBox i will spend another ?10-?20 and get a Cloud iBox. I have a Cloud iBox 2 Plus and they are 100000 times better than the cheap/crap OpenBox/SlyBox in my opinion

best box to me is one you sit down and enjoy tv no daily messing with lists because of moved channels,a 7 day epg and box works,look at linux boxes e2,like octagon sf8 ,or vu solo2 list is endless with better boxes and avoid clones.

I would recommend making sure that the box is GENUINE! I bought 2 from amazon the other day and plugged 1 in and it blew up in smoke, other is working at the moment, but cannot upgrade to latest firmware.

aye thats the downside losing home because box went on fire,clones are poorly built with no safety built in,no one killed yet ? thats why digicon wont touch them with a metal barge pole
