I am having the same challenge, not sure if V8s takes m3u files and where to find the files. You can update by USB in web tv I guess.

Any help woulf be great. thanks

You need unrar the files that hfxlad has provided in post #3 then place the files on the root of the USB drive ie not in any folders.

                Hello.
I know how to edit and create m3u files.
I read the files provided by hfxlad.
                The problem is the same.
When I try to read m3u file from dongle Open box V8s say it failed.
Anyone with any ideas? I try to goggle this problem, lots of people complaint but no one really give a solution.

                    Yes.
Copy file from PC to "usb stick" and try to update from there.

does the box recognise the usb when you plug it in?

Yes. I am using the usb in the front (box say A). Is any difference between them?

                          try useing the back 1
and also try formating the usb aswell
and if you can try another usb.
