Provided you have tried updating correctly and bearing in mind the following information:
You must ensure there is a tick placed on the file when selecting it for upgrading. ( Merely, highlighting it doesn't work ).
Your box is definitely a F5S and NOT a F5 ( There is a difference - different models so different softwares ).
You have downloaded and also extracted the file correctly using a programme such as WinRar. ( Sometimes a file can become corrupted when being downloaded or extracted. It might be worth a try to delete the original download and re-download it again and extract it again ).
Then I would tend to agree with pgreenie1's observation that your box may not be a genuine version and the box is what is known as a " clone " box. If that is the case, and at your own risk, you would need to obtain your software from a clone manufacturer's website and it would be trial and error finding the correct version. Google would be your best option but here are four alternatives that have worked for others. Bear in mind that there are other sites as well.
