epg guide

my epg guide only gives me the day that it is and only gives me programs for 2 hrs
so cannot check what is on later in the day and cannot check other days programs

Are you using xmltv epg ?

hi I am new to this I have a v8 box and can only get on my epg is what I said on my first post
how can I get a 7 day guide and all times

For the xmltv epg to work you must have a USB drive attached at all times.

On the remote, Menu - System Setup - Epg and Time settings. then ensure 'EPG Default Setting' is set to 'Internet-xmltv'

Scroll down to and select 'xmltv settings'.
Highlight 'UK' and left arrow to select auto update.
Then press 'Red' to update.
Exit out of the menu.

Auto update is buggy and it's functionality will be lost if you switch the box off at the socket ie to keep it working you need to put the box into standby only.
