skybox stb erom upgrade help

hi to all ...ive just tried recovering my dead skybox f3 ..with the erom upgrade tool ive managed to load the box with firmware the box came back alive ;],,,,but when i turn the box off from poer its dead again also whwn i uploaded the file it saying on the tv screen skybox with the blue screen ive got a hardware id mismatch showing on the screen help how do i solve this i cant get onto menu etc its just the skybox logo with the hardware ID MISMATCH LOGO ON SCREEN ALL HELP APPRECIATED THANKS

Wrong firmware m8 you need a
Serial RS232 Null modem Cable

to reflash
