    Channel list problems on F5s

I am having an issue I have never encountered before and hope someone can shed some light

Many of my channels are saying scrambled when using the latest versions of both Cwaite's and AJ's lists.
I initially thought it was a line problem as it happened pretty suddenly last Friday, but it worked fine on my cousins V8s box on Saturday.

Here is where it gets weird for me..........
When I remove the channel lists and do a blind scan, it finds a few variations of the channels (I have 3 versions of most channels) and at least one of them will work fine, where the others are just scrambled.
I load back up a channel list and again they are scrambled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am lazy and prefer the simplicity of having just the 1 channel in the list that works

HI. Its always best to create your own channel lists in my opinion rather than relying on others . Your best bet is to delete everything and then do a blind scan. Then go through each channel and make a note of the ones that open and you like. Delete the duplicates that dont open etc so you end up with a list of channels that you need. Then you can create your own channel list by putting them in the order you want. Its very simple really ...its just that some people are lazy and rely on others to do the work.

I have had no problems with any channel lists since I got my box about a year ago, so I became one of the lazy ones......... Looks like I will be sitting down and going through every channel to create my own list when I get the chance. Suppose I also get rid of the crap I have never watched as well by doing it this way

Hi No offence meant to lazy people but you get my drift regarding channel lists. By creating your own means you have channels that you like and in the order you like and more important it will give you indication if your dish is aligned correctly by the results of a blind scan etc.

Check that your sat cable has not come loose also any reason your satellite dish could have moved? even a miniscule movement makes a big difference.
