V5s issues

hi all I have issues scrambled channels glitching etc and now think is issue with the v5s box I have
So I have a few questions.
Opinions on v5s as a box good or bad?
What is the latest firmware for this box?
If I was to buy a new box what would be the most stable box to buy?

Personally never liked the Sky/Openbox type receivers as it seems hit & miss if you get one that has no real problems and if you do your in a minority according to the posts on this forum, as for the Glitching i think we know what that could be its either the 'magic' end or your end say your broadband for instance.

Before you buy anything i would certainly try if possible another type of receiver as the problem could still be evident even with a different type of receiver
