Hi, I had the exact same problem a couple of weeks ago, turned out I needed to replace my LNB. They are cheap enough to buy and not too difficult to fit if you can access your dish.

Hi Its nothing to do with dish or LNB as different boxes work fine according to the member. Problem is that these boxes have a history of failing with this type of symptons. They tend to blow power supply quite easily and so LNB tuner tends to fail thus giving no signal. I have come across this problem a number of times over the last few years. AS i said before what do you expect for 40 pounds???

        Regards

Are these 3 boxes all brand new?

          What model are they?

Is the box that is working on the same feed as the other 3, and is it the same model?

Are you trying them 1 at a time?

Hi The problem is very simple really.. If some boxes work and others dont then its not the dish or LNB but must be the box. Try the box at a different house and see what you get.

              Regards.

Hi If you know there is something wrong with your box what would you like us to do?? It could be the power supply/LNB tuner or anything. As i said before these boxes have a history of problems - in all the years i have never known a box with so many problems for many users. Thats why they are cheap. Is it still under guarantee- probably not. You could take it to a satellite repair shop and see what they tell you

                  Regards

Why dont you check it with a known good channel file. put the box on BBC1 and press the info button 3 times. You should get two coloured bars green and blue showing the quality and intensity of the signal. If they are not coloured and you have the sat cable in the right (In) port then your tuners are goosed. Try removing the cable slowly while watching the bars. 45 on the top bar is the cut off, 45 or anything less and the bars will be grey.
