    Skybox F5 freezing

    Hi guys

    I'm new to all this but I've had my skybox f5 a few months now and all has been working fine up until last night I was watching the box and it was working fine I turned the channel over and it froze on me. I unplugged it from the back of the box and restarted the box once it at loaded up it instantly froze and this keeps happening now. I have read on the internet about using the LAN Tool but not sure how to use this does anyone have a step by step guide on how to use the LAN Tool or any ideas as to what could be causing this to happen.

      Does your box still lock up if you boot it up with the LNB cable removed? If it doesn't, then it sounds like it could be the LAN tool problem.

      How many people have been using there f5s with no problems then as soon as they update firmware or in my case used the lan tool we get a box that loads up for a few seconds then freezes? Disconnect sat feed and all ok? All of a sudden we have suspect feed? Not saying that it doesn't help but why all of a sudden is the

          it works fine when I remove the LNB cable so will read through the thread and hopefully get it fixed
