Removing old magic and replacing with new magic

A bit of help required if poss
I deleted my magic from my mgcam set up on my v8s, exited out of the hidden screen to find all my channels are still clearing without any magic showing in the mgcam, newcamd list.
How do you actually delete all magic, even tried factory reset & newcamd still cleared.

Flash the box with the Firmware this should bring it back to factory default settings and clear everything, Have you also tried doing a Factory Reset from the menu

Yeah that's what's thrown me a bit, I've factory reset from the menu, still worked. Then factory reset highlighting newcamd, tbh after God knows how many boxes I'm surprised I've never noticed before.
The only reason it's been highlighted is my gaffer has a caravan and I happened to have a box for a friend. He has a motorised dish with Internet and asked to try, but the box was scrambled. Now I think this is our works internet which only allows certain traffic.
just as a precautionary measure I had a look at the magic and thought it looked strange, got up this morning, tried deleting and the box was still working.
Box works fine, just for future reference it was to make sure there wasn't 2 accounts running on the box, any more info would be much appreciated.
Im fine with Pm as well as I'm kinda bordering the strict guidelines
