Just a few quick questions

So i got the v8s openbox all i need to do to get this working by reading how to do it is.

• Update the firmware - is where i got the file from - http://eopenbox.co.uk/firmware/
• Update Channel list - http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...urites-working

Once these are done this should work right ? i did go my mates house the other day to test it since he has a sky satellite, but all the all channels were scrambled apart from the standard channels, but this was before iv update the box and channel list. So i am going back round to see if this makes it better or am i missing something.

Updating the firmware and channel list won't unscramble channels. Yes, you are missing something, unfortunately it's against the forum rules to discuss this more, perhaps have a look in this thread;
