openbox v5s problem

Hi

Can anyone help. I am trying to setup an openbox v5s but cant get an internet connection. All the settings look ok and green light on ethanet port in back but cany connect to youtube etc

any advice please?

YouTube app on the v5s is rubbish, on mine it doesn't work, the loading wheel spins then it does nowt. Another way to check the internet is to see if youP**n works or if you can update the xmltv epg.

Hi Nothing to do with Youtube being rubbish or not..problem is it does not work on most receivers. Thats why you are getting the spinning wheel but no connection. Still awaiting a fix but not guarenteed..wait and see.

Even though the Youtube player itself doesn't work, if you get a list of clips when you click on the categories in the left column, then you are connected to the internet.

If you don't get a list of clips, then you are not connected.

you should get the player obsolete message instead of the spinning ball.
I get the spinning ball on u~~~~ so that isn't a good test,for me anyway.
