    help identifying openbox s10 clone

    Hello all. i just bought a openbox s10 off ebay for a few quid its for my daughter i know how these things work i have j just installed my ***** and it works fine i want to know that the box is not a clone before i upgrade the firmware.

    the info on the menue screen is

    MACHINE *01-03-00-00-00-00-00-00
    NC 3c-87-60-05-e2-e9-71-b4
    VERSION C2HS2-11-09-14-03F5CMT
    CHIP ID 1015

    what i can tell its a legit one i just need to make sure.

      leave the firmware as is.
      there hasn't been any updates in 3+years
      That firmware was the last or one of the last that had the preview in the channel edit screen.
      and it was the last where you could save the full cccam.cfg to usb.

          cheers just about to do it. i will leave it funny i just did a factory reset and it seems better with all the channels in order.

              90% of the people that kill their receiver do it by updating the sat/channel list, so I only use ones that I made myself.
              Another word to the wise.
