Firmware update for openbox V7s

It is possible to update openbox V7s with openboxV8s firmware. This box is working but the EPG is not loading channels information.
Any way around the firmware update or the EPG?

That is the reason i asked the question, to know if anybody ever tried the firmware for v8s on v7s. I will probably try to see if that will work.

searching through the dowload section i found these three files but, i'm not sure which one i should download.

{1} S-V7(14112700FA_VFD)

{2} S-V7(14110505_VFD)

{3} S-V7 (140924065F_VFD)

Any help will do.

back the firmware up for the V7
then try the flash for the V8........if no good flash it back with the V7 backup

Absolutely perfect, this update sorted out the EPG problem.
