hi is it possible for me to replace a channel with another
i have itv central on 3 in entertainment and want to put channel 36 itv in regional in its place
can this be done

I believe moving the channel, in the channel edit, would do the work. It is possible to manually move channels around.

I do this regularly. There may be a simpler way but here is how I do it on a V5S
Firstly I select favourites and then entertainment and any channel. Then
1 Press menu button and select "edit channels" and then select Favourites edit. Ithen get presented with 2 lists .On the left hand side is All Satellites and on the right Entertainment. In between the lists are the + X signs
2 I scroll down in the All Satelites list till I find the one I want (for example 1012 has Anglia W) and then press ok when I get a green tick
3 I move to the middle and highlight the + and again press OK which results in my selected channel getting a red heart Fav sign
I then exit making sure to save
4 got to Channel edit press RED buttonto select fav then entertainment
5 select the prog I wish to replace (0003) then move to the other column and select the 2 arrows or Move sign and move the channel to somewhere else (I move it up to the last position available) and press ok
6 near the end of the list the channel you selected earlier (ITV Anglia W0 will be found.Again select it and move it to position 3
exit and make sure to save
job done
