No signal on movies

seem to have lost movis and a few other channels I've put on the updated channel list and all seemed fine but now nothing, if I do a tp search 11934v is showing practically no signal and can't find any channels any suggestions guys

Try another chnl list mate plus these boxes are poor do a bit of research there are far more reliable boxes out there for just a few quid more. just my opinion though .

tried another chnl list deleted the tp list and did a blind scan still nothing when i go through the tp list most of them have around 85% signal and about 80
% quality but 11934v only has 40% and 10% quality nothing has chnged on my setup only got the probs when movies changed freq

came back from hols on Thursday and the films were not working,not updated box for about 3 months but they came back after deleting all channels then doing a blind scan on 28e single sat search. found them around the channel 700 mark,hope this helps

k movies now working no idea what happened but updated channel list with AJs one did another blind scan unplugged the f5 and went to the pub to ponder the problem came back plugged it in and all fine now so from now on if i get a problem im going to the pub

Probably the box just needed a reboot?

these boxes people will always get moved/missing channels because of old data,people should have this on pc to check for movement

So i guess you don't take advice.......
load one of the channel list above if you still have the same problem......then its the problem that Nutsandbolts pointed out to you

very easy if you listen to what your advised to do.............if still confused take the box to a mates house & check it there
if they have a sat dish & internet....if all working perfect then take the advice your given

Sorry but 2+2=5.......NO..... work it out ......if you do a blind scan or upload a channel list pre-loaded with all the channels working
the problem your having????

wrong channel list your loading(out of date) or the dish is out......Easy Buddy

list what channels you are missing
do you have the original box connect ??

Hi For all you novices out there here are some simple tips regardless of what box you have:

1) If you think your dish is aligned correctly then it should not matter if you download an updated channel list or you do a blind scan channels should work.

2) If your dish is out of alignment then whether you download a channel list or do a blind scan then channels will not work or tune in... you may get some channels working etc. In this case its always best to rely on a blind scan because the number of channels found will tell you if dish is aligned correctly.
3) If you think box is faulty then take box to a friend/relative house to check it out. Or check a friends box at your house to check lineup etc.

Most fault finding are just a case of common sense and elimination process.
