V8 Restore To Factory Settings

I am trying to help a friend out...He tried to install a new channel listing and thought he needed to restore the box to factory settings before installing...as a result he is now receiving no channels...any help appreciated

as you now know a factory reset makes any box into one thats left the factory and will need to be setup from scratch [ does not alter your image that was on box ] due to forum rules thats about as far as i can say.

Hi. If your friend has a fixed dish then just do a blind scan on the satellite and it should tune everything in - assuming that dish is aligned correctly. Also make sure that LNB setting is set to Universal in satellite setup menu.
